It is commonly said that there are increasing burdens on children academically, socially and commercially. Personally，I believe that the mounting pressure from domestic expectations, peer competition and impoverished background are the three main culprits for this situation.

First of all, many parents place numerous expectation on their children as for the academic performance. In order to achieve excellent attainment and not disappoint their parents, children have to study hard and sometimes they may struggle through impractical educational requirements from their parents, which brings huge stress to children. Besides, it is undeniable that mounting peer pressure also contributes to this problem. Due to the soaring number of students, pupils now are facing increasingly fierce competition from peers,and in order to come out on top and succeed, they must put more effort to be well-rounded and compete against others, leading to enormous pressure on students. Another reason can be attributed to those students from impoverished background, affording expensive tuition fees and living expenses could press heavily on them. They need to work their way through college or manage for the scholarship, so this is why our next generation could possibly face financial challenge and suffer from commercial stress.

To ease this situation, parents should be educated to find their childrens potentials and set goals within their capability, rather than simply push them to unrealistic limits. Meanwhile, schools and teachers need to provide adequate patience and guidance for students, mitigating their psychological pressure from peers and raise healthy competition. Finally, more institutional opportunities should be offered for students, especially in developing countries so that the economical burden on poor students can be alleviated.For example，offering scholarship and student loan can be regarded as the feasible way to assist the students from underprivileged households.

In conclusion, it seems to me that enhancing the academic performance，providing sufficient patience and chances are the three solutions that I came up with.
