There are so many people that have appeared in the news lately who seem really interesting to me. There have been pop singers who have sparked controversy and actors who get noticed for all ofthe wrong reasons. However, there is one person in particular that springs to my mind, and that is Greta Thunberg. If you didnt already know, she started a solo campaign to combat climate change. At the age of just sixteen, she sat alone outside the Swedish government buildings with her placards. Since then, there have been huge gatherings of people from across the world who joined together in different countries, which are often shown on TV. It would be really interesting to meet Greta at one of these gatherings, and I wouldnt mind traveling to a city I havent visited before, so maybe I would meet her in Berlin for example. It would be fascinating to be able to interview her to find out when this all became so important to her. On TV, she comes across as quite knowledgeable about the environment, and I would like to know when and where she started researching this topic. Of course, I would hope that she could understand all of my questions. Some people say that she is scaremongering especially among children. There could be some truth in that, but I admire her for her courage and determination to make a change in the world. Im so curious about her, and I wonder if I will feel even more inspired to be involved in something just like she is.
