一些人認為如果電視頻道增加他們會有很多的選擇，而一些人認為這會導(dǎo)致電視節(jié)目質(zhì)量下降。討論雙方觀點并給出自己的觀點。

Discuss both views and give your own opinion.討論雙方觀點并給出自己的觀點，雙觀點議論文，寫作時可考慮使用傾向型或中立寫法。本文采用傾向型寫法。

As a vital approach to spend leisure time, the topic of whether it is appropriate and effective to increase the quantity of TV shows is of great concern for many people. Some people argue that this means can bring more choices whereas others are worrying about that the quality of the current programs may thus be adversely affected. Personally, I prefer the latter.

First of all, poor TV programs may be exerted from a growing number of TV broadcast stations due to the limited resources and staff. When a new channel runs, there may not be excellent producers and directors who are potent to guarantee content of TV programs. Therefore, rather than just increase the number of channels，it is more crucial to put emphasis on the design and framework of each TV programs, or the government should pay more attention to cultivate more related talents.

Besides, the expansion of TV programs may also lead to the phenomenon of duplication. For example, some programs which focus on latest news may report the similar information when emergency happens even if the are created by different journalist. Meanwhile, even other channels aim at providing entertainment for audience, there also exist the cribbing or simulation of the popular programs abroad so as to expand the readership. However, with the advent of the Internet, people may have already accessed these TV shows online before the local channel broadcast the similar programs on TV, which means that the choices of audiences may not actually upgraded.

Theoretically, increasing the number of channels may make audiences life more culturally and socially diversified, as watching TV used to be one of the main means to spend their leisure time. However, as I mentioned above, the advances of the network have already brought about the prosperity of the online programs, which can also contain the recreation value for the people nowadays.

In conclusion, it seems to me that the increasing number of TV channels cannot provide more choices for people but minimize the quality of each programs mainly because of limited sources as well as the duplication which may happen when news and popular program emerge.
