Describe a businessman that you admire

You should say:

Who this person is

How you got to know this person

What the business includes

And explain why you admire this person

話題分析

這是一道人物類的新題，但是是披著舊題的衣服，和之前幾個季度的舊題，比如感興趣的名人、一個有名的人、精力旺盛的人、擅長一項(xiàng)工作的人、家族企業(yè)等等都可以用一套核心的素材。如果準(zhǔn)備過好幾季口語題庫的同學(xué)，應(yīng)該是可以信手拈來了

這道題目需要注意的是盡量不要去準(zhǔn)備太大眾的商人，想必很多同學(xué)說的都是Jack Ma，當(dāng)考官聽到千篇一律的內(nèi)容，也很難給出高分。

第一小問Who this person is這個商人是誰

這一題可以從他的姓名、身份地位(比如商人這題當(dāng)中可以說是公司CEO、CFO或者其他身份)、個性特征、成長經(jīng)歷、獲得的成就等，為了避免和下面第三小問有過多重復(fù)，這里針對于他的事業(yè)上的成就可以宏觀地概括一句，不必提的太細(xì)節(jié)。

第二小問How you got to know this person你是怎么認(rèn)識他的

一般來說我們認(rèn)識到商人大多是通過他們的商品服務(wù)，如果是離我們生活比較遠(yuǎn)的商品服務(wù)、或是年代比較久遠(yuǎn)的商人，也是會通過宣傳視頻、流傳的故事、聽別人提起等其他方式認(rèn)識到這個人物。

第三小問What the business includes 業(yè)務(wù)包括了哪些內(nèi)容

可以詳細(xì)介紹一下企業(yè)理念、企業(yè)規(guī)模、業(yè)務(wù)板塊，一般來說生意是包括實(shí)物商品和服務(wù)，可以展開說說實(shí)物商品或者服務(wù)有些，有什么特質(zhì)、以什么聞名。

第四小問 explain why you admire this person你為什么敬佩這個人

在解釋為什么你敬佩這個人的時候，可以從多方面挖掘一下這個人出眾之處，比如是人品特質(zhì)/能力、商業(yè)成就、創(chuàng)造/宣傳的理念、對社會的貢獻(xiàn)等等。有必要的話可以渲染一下遇到的困難，但是如何克服，或者是如何改變時代/引領(lǐng)潮流。

The person I am going to talk about is Ray Dalio who is an American billionaire investor and hedge fund manager, who has served as the founder of the worlds largest hedge fund-----Bridgewater.

I got to know this person because of his famous book----Principles.

As i have mentioned, he is a famous investor and hedge fund manager.

I think he is a great thinker whose ideas about life and work have been presented in his book ----Principles. This is a wonderful book, which teaches me some important principles about how to make decisions, how to approach challenges, and how to build strong teams. I am particularly impressed by the concept of radical truth and radical transparency in this book, which serve as the cornerstone of Dalios career and life. After reading his wisdom exhibited in this book, i found that i made a lot of mistakes and i didnt really take my goals and career seriously. I never take great efforts to get to know the truth of a lot of things happening in my life and i didnt even think for myself what is true. I just depend on social media information and follow the crowd. I guess thats the reason why I become the mediocre and never get things done. It is him that makes me realize that i have to be true to myself and keep improving the way i think. Otherwise i will lag behind in this rapidly changing world.
