1. Have you got a hobby? If so, what is it?
2. Is it an expensive hobby in your country?
3. What do teenagers like doing in your country?
4. What hobbies are usually expensive in your country?
5. What do you like about your hobby?
6. How much time do you spend on your hobby?
7. Is your hobby a common hobby in your country?
8. Are there any new hobbies that you would like to take up?
1.Yes, I am a big fan of photograph for a couple of years. Although it would definitely cost me so much because the camera and lens are both quite expensive, I am the kind of person who wants the best or nothing and I believe they are totally worth it.
2.It depends. If people want to take photos which are a bit different and professional than the ordinary ones, they should probably invest a great amount of money in the gears; on the other hand, if people just have fun with the pictures, they could buy the cheap devices, too. They are affordable and won’t cost much.
3.It’s kind of hard to say but the young people that I know around me tend to play football so much in the football pitch, but maybe for others, they just want to play computer games at home all day long.
4.Well, in my country, apart from my hobby, there are also several hobbies that need you spend a great amount of money. For example, the musical instruments, such as piano and violin, will bankrupt you. As well as that, if people decide to embrace high end audio equipments, that would appear to be a bottomless money sink.
5.I have been in the habit of it for almost 8 years. The main factor is that I can capture the precious moment in my life, such as the graduation ceremony, or the sweet moment with my girlfriend, and also I believe the photography will cultivate my mental development.
6.Not so much time actually, I take photos from time to time. Normally if I’m free in my spare time, I will go out to the natural sceneries with all my gears to find and capture the stunning moments because I find it quite entertaining to do that; but if I have lots of on my hands I’ll probably focus on my work.
7.Oh, yes, it’s definitely a common hobby in my country as photography has been gone through a long way in history. You can easily see people taking photos of portraits or landscape in the parks or any natural sceneries in China.
8.Well, recently I went to running in the park because I wanted to keep me fitness and get toned. Besides, keeping a running track in my iPhone and sharing it with my friends are really entertaining. Moreover, I wanted to try some traditional English Oxford shoes because they really look cool and trendy, and would suit my new coat well.
1. Do you like to look for new apps or just keep using the old ones?
Look for new ones ;
use the old ones ;
keeping the old ones while looking for new ones
1. 舊的app用過了,失去新鮮感don’t feel excited using old apps. 例如如果游戲APP的話里面的環(huán)節(jié)都清楚了you are familiar with what’s going on in it / know the contents清楚內(nèi)容,而每個(gè)月都有很多新的app,a large number of new applications,可以有很多新鮮好玩的download them for fun,空閑的時(shí)候有更多的APP來打發(fā)時(shí)間kill time;
2. 新的APP有時(shí)候是舊app的更新it could be a new version of old apps / an upgraded version,所以內(nèi)容可能更豐富,用起來界面可能更友好more user-friendly,更多特色add more features;
3. 搜索新的應(yīng)用可以拿來跟舊的做比較,compare with the old Apps,從而知道最適合自己的或者最好用的版本find the best app or get the one that suits me well,方便自己的使用。
舊的APP大部分都免費(fèi)free of charge/ can be downloaded for free / don’t need to pay for them,而新的APP很多都需要收費(fèi)most of new apps will charge / have to pay for them,所以不愿意下載新的;
APP,there is no extra space for new applications,而且很多新的應(yīng)用都很大,占用內(nèi)存多occupy a lot of space;習(xí)慣了用老的get used to the old ones,所以不愿意刪掉don’t want to get rid of them / remove them。
I am that kind of person who don’t like looking for new applications. It is not only because I get used to the old ones on my phone. It is also inconvenient to download new ones since the storage of my phone is quite small. I don’t have enough space for them. Besides, most of new applications would charge a small amount of fee if you want to download. So I prefer the old free ones.
2. Do you use free apps or the ones that you need to pay for?
1. 收費(fèi)的APP沒有廣告,there would not be any advertisements/commercials popping out when you are using it,用pop out 表達(dá)突然跳出來,而免費(fèi)的應(yīng)用可能隨時(shí)都有煩人的廣告跳出來很煩it’s annoying,但是又必須要忍受Have to bear with it;
2. 收費(fèi)的APP往往功能更多come with more functions,畫面更好看better graphics/images,音樂更好聽better music等等;收費(fèi)的軟件也更加安全robust application security,能保證自己的信息不泄露there is guarantee that my personal date will be safe from being hacked。
可能是因?yàn)椴幌矚g花錢購(gòu)買程序don’t want to pay for applications,是個(gè)人的喜好personal preference,而且總能找到免費(fèi)的作為收費(fèi)軟件的替代品you could always find alternative for those apps that charge money;而且,可以是因?yàn)橛妹赓M(fèi)的軟件更有靈活度,萬一不喜歡可以隨時(shí)刪掉不心疼錢can stay flexible, when I need to delete it I just do it等等。
I prefer to use free applications because I would like to stay flexible. When I want to delete it to release some space in my phone or I simply don’t need them, I could just do it without worrying about the money I spend on it.
3. What are the drawbacks of having too many apps on phone?
1. APP裝太多,可能導(dǎo)致內(nèi)存空間不足there’s no enough space / not sufficient storage,沒有空間存照片視頻等其他內(nèi)容may not save photos, videos or other contents;
2. 裝太多APP會(huì)導(dǎo)致手機(jī)運(yùn)行速度變慢slow down the phone / it takes much time to operate / it takes ages to open an app打開APP的時(shí)間會(huì)很長(zhǎng),而且容易死機(jī)the phone may die easily if you try to open apps;
3. APP太多不好分類,等到要使用的時(shí)候可能找不到,因?yàn)樘珌y了too messy,may not find the one you want to use quickly,may get lost in those app logos被APP的標(biāo)志搞暈,再加上很多APP的標(biāo)志很相似look similar尤其是顏色have the same color / have identical color,所以很容易認(rèn)不出來想用的那個(gè)may not recognize the app you need;
4. 還可以從浪費(fèi)時(shí)間這個(gè)方向來答,因?yàn)锳PP很多都是和娛樂entertainment /leisure有關(guān)的,有很多也是游戲,所以下載太多可能會(huì)是個(gè)讓人分心的事it is a distraction / they may distract people from working or studying,下載太多之后總是去玩,導(dǎo)致浪費(fèi)時(shí)間it’s a waste of time / spend too much time on using apps,而且有些APP還會(huì)收費(fèi)charge,下載太多也會(huì)花很多錢spend extra money。
First of all, it is possible to spend too much time on using applications if people download too many. A lot of apps are games actually, which means that people may waste more time playing rather than working or studying. Besides, this can also slow down the phone, making phone easier to crash. Apart from that, having too many app logos on the phone can make it really hard to find the one you want to use. You could get lost in those logos in similar colors and shapes. So I don’t think it’s useful to have too many on the phone.
APP,get rid of / remove /delete old apps regularly or don’t keep the old ones,或者給自己的app分類整理categorize,防止桌面過亂。
1. Why do some adults miss their childhoods?
One apparent reason is that childhood is so carefree. (展開)All children have to do is studying and having fun, nothing else. I remember my childhood memory was all about a park and several fellows playing until very late.(拿自己的童年舉例證明)However, there are so many worries in adulthood, people rarely feel totally relieved. There is fast pace of life (快節(jié)奏的生活),endless to-do list (完不成的代辦清單,這是個(gè)比較形象的說法),and the toughest thing is that you have no where to hide for a moment; you need to be confronted with it, pretending you are positive and strong.
Another thing is that adult life is very sophisticated, I mean the way people get along with each other. It’s very tiring to deal with the people you are not into …
2. In general, do children in China enjoy their childhoods?
Generally, Chinese children are not very happy, especially compared with children in some developed countries, as I know. I say so because children here have very heavy class loads since very little, not from the compulsory classes, mainly through the extra courses out of school.(主要是補(bǔ)習(xí)班)后文解釋這個(gè)現(xiàn)象。Parents are afraid that their children are lagged behind and always want children to be the top students.
One more important reason is that Parents in China sometimes don’t have the right attitude toward kids. They don’t respect them very well and neither do they give children enough freedom. They impose their expectations on kids and even only regard good scores as the only criteria of a good kid…
3. What do children like to do in China?
然后說 but there are people who…
As all kids, Chinese kids would spend a lot of time watching cartoons and playing computer games nowadays. I know so many kids are very keen on the games on iPad and they can spend the whole day on it. (自己的例子)And my childhood was mostly about watching cartoons. (主觀看法)Well, but actually I don’t think it’s very advisable.(合理的靠譜的) Childhood should be spent on (被動(dòng))more meaningful things like cultivating a hobby, reading books, etc.
Moreover, kids nowadays have fun alone, which I think really negative.
