People in my city go to work or travel by bus. taxi or city train. The most popular one is motorcycles. People cannot ride bikes as my city is hilly and the roads are bumpy.

People in China like to ride bikes because bikes are cheap to buy easy,easy to ride and convenient to use.People always ride bikes to some places which are not far away,and they think it is the best way to reduce traffic congestion.Most people,even the young and the old,can freely ride bikes to go where they want.

I thunk most people are trying to find the answer as the traffic conditions are getting worse and worse in many cities. In my opinion,to develop public transportation, encourage bike riding and improve road construction are very important to relieve traffic congestion.

4.Do you think transportation costs(gasoline, subway, bus and taxi fares,etc.) are expensive in your hometown?

I think the transportation costs in my hometown are very cheap the bus fare. To relieve traffic congestion,the local government has perfected the public transportation system ， and has made the prices acceptable to all. At about one or two yuan every time,you can travel around most of the city. So many people get around by bus.

5.Describe the advantages and disadvantage of saloon cars.

Saloon cars provide people with an easy and convenient way to travel at a low cost. With the development of the public transport system, it is possible to get to most places in the city by saloon cars. However, during rush hours saloon cars can be very crowded-and sometimes, because of the traffic congestion.

6.What do you think of walking? What kind people do you think like walking?

I find walking a very easy and effective exercise to keep the body healthy.According to a report,proper amount of walking exercise can be beneficial to our heart and lungs. About what kind of people like walking. I guess they're the people like me who find doing sports too hard.

I’m going to describe a street market that I’ve enjoyed visiting many times in Manchester. It’s the Manchester Christmas Market, and it comes to the city for about a month from the end of November every year. The market stalls are spread across several sites in the city center, but the centrepiece is the large European market in Albert Square next to the Town Hall.

The Christmas Market stalls sell an array of Christmas gifts and mouth-watering food and drink from all over Europe. It’s a great place to find handmade crafts such as jewellery, ornaments, wooden toys and other souvenirs, but it’s the food and drink that seem to be most popular. Probably the biggest seller is the ‘Gluhwein’, a hot, sweet wine which is sold in a souvenir mug.

The market was originally quite small, occupying just one of the central squares in Manchester, but it’s grown quickly in recent years, spilling over into maybe five other pedestrian streets and a few other squares. Apparently there are over 200 stalls now, so it’s become a really big event attracting thousands of visitors.

The main reason I’ve always enjoyed visiting the Christmas Market is the fantastic atmosphere. When I went there last December, it didn’t matter how cold or wet the weather was, Manchester seemed to come alive when the market opened; the streets were bustling with people and there was a real festive feel to the city.

There are many things to do in London because it is famous for its history, culture, art, museums. But I think most tourists go there to see tourist attractions like Big Ben, The Tower of London, or Buckingham Palace. You can get a fantastic view of the city from the 'London Eye' which is a big wheel right beside the river Times in the middle of the city. London is also famous for its theatres and shows in the West End for the shopping, restaurants and also for the nightlife There are endless things to see and do there.

The reason I think London is an interesting place is its exciting and busy atmosphere, it is really a busy and hectic city, and it is very cosmopolitan with people from all over the world and people with different culture background mixing together. So I think this makes unique. It's a historic city but modern at the same time, and it’s also thriving place.

there are some negatives. London is extremely expensive. the cost of living has been high. and it is a crowded, stressful place. There is pollution. People complain the underground system is dirty. The locals are always in a hurry and can sometimes be unfriendly. But I think these are problems you can find in most big cities. So for me London is really an interesting city worth visiting for those reasons.

1. Who is your favourite celebrity in China?

Off the top of my head, I guess I would have to say it’s Jack Ma. I’m not sure if you’ve heard of him, but he’s the founder of Alibaba, and one of the most successful businessmen in the country. And I basically admire him for everything that he’s achieved, especially as I think he had to deal with a lot of rejection early on in his career. So yeah, I’d say he’s probably my favourite celebrity here in China.

But I think there would be a lot of downsides as well, for example lack of privacy, the paparazzi. So I think all things considered, I probably wouldn’t want to be a celebrity.
