Paul導(dǎo)師現(xiàn)任紐約大學(xué)史登商學(xué)院市場(chǎng)營(yíng)銷學(xué)教授,曾在加州大學(xué)洛杉磯分校(UCLA)、哥倫比亞大學(xué)、加州大學(xué)圣迭戈分校(UCSD)等世界著名學(xué)府客座演講。并且擔(dān)任NYU Stern商學(xué)院Entertainment,Media&Technology(EMT)Program(交叉學(xué)科項(xiàng)目)項(xiàng)目主任。Paul導(dǎo)師有著豐富的傳媒行業(yè)從業(yè)經(jīng)驗(yàn)。他創(chuàng)立和經(jīng)營(yíng)了環(huán)球影業(yè)(Universal Picture;全球電影大型制作商;好萊塢歷史最久的公司之一)旗下獨(dú)立電影廠牌Universal Focus,曾負(fù)責(zé)環(huán)球影業(yè)戰(zhàn)略規(guī)劃,推出新業(yè)務(wù)和塑造工作室長(zhǎng)期發(fā)展規(guī)劃,還曾在華納兄弟擔(dān)任高級(jí)職位。
Prof.Paul is currently a Clinical Professor of Marketing at New York University Stern School of Business.He has guest lectured at the University of California Los Angeles,The American Film Institute,Columbia University,Temple University and the University of California at San Diego.He founded and ran Universal Focus,the independent film label of Universal Pictures.He also created Universal Pictures’library management program,overseeing the restoration and re-issue of Alfred Hitchcock’s Rear Window and the re-edit of Orson Welles’s Touch of Evil.Prior to Universal Focus,he oversaw strategic planning for Universal Pictures,which included launching new businesses and helping shape the Studio’s long-term strategy.He has also held senior positions at Warner Brothers and Turner Broadcasting.

The program is designed to provide students with a framework for understanding the entertainment,media and technology industries and their intersecting points.The program covers recent activities in key sectors of the entertainment universe including movies,home video,television,cable,OTT,social media,publishing and music.We will explore the sweeping trends that are affecting these industries:digitization,globalization,audience fragmentation and shifting models of monetization.We’ll also look at the strategies and models that are(and aren’t)succeeding in this ever-evolving landscape.

The digital revolution of information communication technology,the involvement of international media giants,and the commercialization of news information are changing social media.Computers can easily integrate sound,text and images,to spread multimedia information to all parts of the world.Companies hold a variety of information dissemination channels,and attract the attention of the world through newspapers,magazines,radio,music,movies,TV,etc.How does the new social media affect individuals and society?The project focuses on the media industry such as music,film,and TV live broadcasts and helps students gain insight into the changes in the mass-media industry and business strategies through real case studies.
