College of William Mary 威廉瑪麗學(xué)院

Overview

College of William Mary is a public institution that was founded in 1693. It has a total undergraduate enrollment of 6,301, its setting is suburban, and the campus size is 1,200 acres. It utilizes a semester-based academic calendar. College of William Mary's ranking in the 2017 edition of Best Colleges is National Universities, 32. The College of William and Mary is second oldest college in the country. It was founded by King William III and Queen Mary II of England. 2 學(xué)術(shù)氛圍：在GIT,你能遇到有著各種各樣興趣和目標(biāo)的人。這是一個(gè)有著無限可能，并且你可以追求自己理想的校園。該校的理工氛圍相當(dāng)濃厚，本科工程學(xué)院人口占全校的60%，計(jì)算機(jī)單獨(dú)成立一個(gè)學(xué)院，本科人口占據(jù)14%左右。Engineer Pride在學(xué)校是主流，很多和工程師相關(guān)的梗和笑點(diǎn)都印在了各種T-Shirt上。

The school is divided between an Uptown campus, its main location, and a Downtown campus, the center for health science programs. 1學(xué)術(shù)氛圍：金融專業(yè)是很受追捧的專業(yè)，有很多可以選擇的課程。很多金融方面的課程是所有商學(xué)院專業(yè)的必修課。商學(xué)院的教學(xué)設(shè)施很棒，有一個(gè)模擬室。商學(xué)院的基礎(chǔ)實(shí)力雄厚，有比學(xué)校其他任何專業(yè)的學(xué)生都多。杜蘭大學(xué)很大程度上把重點(diǎn)都放在了商科上面，他們經(jīng)常邀請一些演說家來，也會(huì)召開一些招聘會(huì)等等這樣的事情。我們也有龐大的校友圈。如果你學(xué)的是商科專業(yè)，那你得通過商學(xué)院到國外進(jìn)修，對比別的專業(yè)來說會(huì)覺得厭煩，沒有太多的可去的地方，比如說藝術(shù)專業(yè)，但是他們每年的人數(shù)還是在增加。

2多樣性：杜蘭大學(xué)缺少種族多樣性，但由其他方面彌補(bǔ)了。我們是全國最具有地域多樣性的學(xué)校了，有很多國際生。宗教信仰方面也有很好的多樣性，雖然大多數(shù)學(xué)生不是猶太人就是基督徒。杜蘭大學(xué)是個(gè)很自由的學(xué)校，但是還是有一些保守派存在的。

3體育：體育是校園生活很重要的一部分。橄欖球比賽是一年中非常重要的賽事活動(dòng)了，每個(gè)人都會(huì)某種程度上參與其中。這些比賽中體現(xiàn)的校風(fēng)都非常高漲。很多學(xué)生都會(huì)一定程度上參與校內(nèi)體育活動(dòng)。

4校園飲食：很多學(xué)生會(huì)去吃Bruff那里的食物；對于一般學(xué)校的餐飲標(biāo)準(zhǔn)來說，那里是食物相當(dāng)不錯(cuò)了。除此之外，學(xué)生們還有很多其他的選擇。

5校園住宿：很漂亮的校園，擁有各種各樣的設(shè)施（體育館，一個(gè)室內(nèi)和室外的游泳池，很多的方院，一個(gè)自助餐廳，一個(gè)健康食物市場，一個(gè)每夜都通宵營業(yè)的餐館，等等），還有，每個(gè)教室到任何宿舍都只有10分鐘步行的距離。很好的地面。Monroe是最好的大一新生宿舍，很有生活氣息。Butler或許是最糟糕的宿舍了。每年挑選宿舍的手續(xù)有點(diǎn)像小巡演，但是最終都會(huì)有結(jié)果的。

6交通：杜蘭大學(xué)的校車有時(shí)候有點(diǎn)慢，但是它能帶你去任何地方——商業(yè)區(qū)，住宅區(qū)，沃爾瑪購物中心，標(biāo)靶中心，新視角商城，湖邊商城，美食大全，鮮貨商城，國際市場等等.有軌電車很慢，有時(shí)也打不上車。NORTA可以每15分鐘跑一班車。但可真是個(gè)大瞎話。巴士要比有軌電車快一些，但也別指望它們會(huì)準(zhǔn)時(shí)。

5校園住宿：校園住宿的好壞很多還是取決于你自己。有很多宿舍可以算得上是“聚會(huì)天地”各種喧囂，也有其他一些相對很安靜的宿舍。也有很多特殊的房間，比如為榮譽(yù)課程準(zhǔn)備的學(xué)生，或者為那些有共同興趣愛好的人準(zhǔn)備的房間。
