At Art Center, we believe that communicating the motivation and process behind your work can be as important as the final piece itself. So we invite you to share with us the story behind one of your pieces of work in either a video or written essay format.

在ACCD，我們認為對于作品創(chuàng)作的靈感和動機的交流與最終成型的藝術作品本身一樣重要。 所以我們希望你可以分享一下你作品集當中某一件創(chuàng)作(項目)背后的故事，可以用視頻或短文的形式來表達。

Address the following questions in your essay:

在你的短文中，請回答一下問題：

Why did you choose to create this piece?

為什么你選擇創(chuàng)造這個作品?

How did you approach the making of this piece?

你是如何制作這個作品的?

What aspects of this piece satisfied your intentions?

這個作品的哪部分傳達了你設計意圖?

What, if anything, might you change about your piece?

如果選擇去改變這個作品的話，你會選擇改變什么?

Select one piece from your portfolio.

從你的作品集中選擇一個項目

Identify the title and date of the piece.

標明作品的名稱和創(chuàng)作日期

Make sure to list the title of the piece in Slideroom so that we can reference the correct piece.

確保在slideroom里列舉所選作品的名稱一致，以便我們賞析參照。

If you choose to make a video, length should not exceed 2 minutes total.

如果你選擇制作一個視頻，總長度在2分鐘以內。

If you choose to submit a written essay, length should not exceed 750 words.

如果你選擇提交一篇短文，總字數(shù)限定在750字以內。

Upload the video or essay to Slideroom along with the rest of your portfolio.

關于提交方式：視頻或者短文，在slideroom里和作品集一起上傳。

It is the content of your submission that we are interested in. If you choose to make a video, don’t be concerned about production quality. Use the technology and resources that are readily available to you. Feel free to use your phone, for instance, to create your short video.
