　　Every year thousands of highly skilled, well-educated people leave developing countries and go to live in another country, such as Canada, Australia, America or Britain. This is having a negative effect on the future development of these countries because these are the very people they need in order to develop their economy. Do you agree or disagree? Give reasons for your answer.

　　Every year, many developing countries are faced with the problem of losing large numbers of highly skilled and well-educated people, who go to developed countries for development. Different people may hold different views on this issue. As to me, I believe this is definitely having a negative impact on the development of these developing countries. In this essay, I will discuss this issue from the following two aspects.

　　To begin with, it is a natural phenomenon for some peopleto move to developed countries. Since life in developed countries is much better, and it is an inborn human nature to fight for a better and better life;therefore, it is nothing wrong for these people to choose to live in developed countries and enjoy a better life.

　　However, it is developing countries that need highly-skilled and well-educated people the most. For one thing, in the world nowadays, economic development largely depends on an advanced level of science and technology. And only well-educated people can keep up with the progress of science and technological innovations in this modern world. To state it more clearly: the fast development of a country's economy greatly depends on a large percentage of talented people in the whole population. Therefore, with large numbers of highly skilled people going to live in developed countries, developing countries are surely short of talented professionals who are badly needed for developing the national economy. Developed countries, on the hand, are not in such an embarrassing situation owing to their advantageous working conditions and higher wages which can well keep talented personnel at home.

　　In conclusion, large numbers of highly-skilled and well-educated people choosing to live in developedcountries is not to the advantage of the countries they leave behind. Yet, it is unwise for these countries to try toforbid them to pursue a better life by law, for this is against human nature. It would be highly advisable that developing countries stage favorable policies to attract these people who are equipped with advanced knowledge back to their motherland. If this could be done, developing countries would hold a great deal to thank developed countries for having trained so many better-educated professionals for them.
