The course I am going to tell you about is on CPR or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation.It is an emergency lifesaving procedure performed when the heart stops beating.Immediate CPR can double or triple the chances of survival after cardiac arrest.Besides,this course also briefly introduced how to use AED,or automated external defibrillator,and where you could find it in public areas like airports and railway stations.

我要告訴你的課程是關(guān)于心肺復(fù)蘇的。它是一種在心臟停跳的時(shí)候所采取的緊急措施。及時(shí)的心肺復(fù)蘇可以將心臟驟停之后的生存率提高兩倍或三倍。除此之外，該課程也簡要介紹了如何使用自動體外除顫儀，以及在機(jī)場和火車站這樣的公共場所的哪里能找到他們。

This course was organized by one of the societies in my university and conducted in the classroom.It was about a year ago.When I was waiting for the elevator,I noticed there was a leaflet attached on the wall,saying a series of lessons on CPR would be hosted and anyone who was interested was welcomed.Always eager to learn these life-saving skills,I took down the time and the venue immediately.

The course was divided into two parts.In the first one,the lecturer explicitly showed us how to perform CPR properly,including the posture of the body,the specific position of hands,and the depth and frequency of press.The second part focused on practice.Every participant was invited to the podium to perform CPR on a dummy,with the lecturer standing aside and making corrections when necessary.

課程被分為兩部分。第一部分中，講師向我們詳細(xì)展示了如何正確進(jìn)行心肺復(fù)蘇，包括身體的姿勢，手的位置，按壓的頻率和深度等。第二部分以實(shí)踐為主。每個參與者都被邀請到臺上在假人身上進(jìn)行心肺復(fù)蘇。講師站在旁邊，在必要的時(shí)候做出更正。

The course impressed me for two reasons.Firstly,I cannot believe such an important skill was so easy to master.Second,as a student not majoring in medicine,it was the first time I touched a dummy,which was a pretty amazing experience.

該課程讓我印象深刻的原因有兩點(diǎn)。首先，我無法相信這么重要的技能如此簡單就能掌握。其次，作為一個非醫(yī)學(xué)專業(yè)的學(xué)生，這是我第一次接觸假人。體驗(yàn)很神奇。
