Advertising discourages us from being different individuals by making us want to be or to look the same.Do you agree or disagree?

As many people have access to television and the Internet,advertising is becoming an integrated part of the modern life and greatly affect our behaviours.Personally,I agree with the view that these ads tend to make us want to behave in a similar manner.

隨著越來越多的人接入電視和互聯(lián)網(wǎng),廣告成為現(xiàn)代生活的一部分,并在很大程度上影響著我們的行為。個人而言,我同意以下觀點,即這些廣告會讓我們的行為變得越來越相似。

廣告影響生活方式

For decades,advertising has been shaping consumers’behaviours with several identical patterns and preventing us from making us a diversified society.A common practice is that marketers try to create new habits for customers who nonstop adopt new lifestyles’concepts.These habits then become the norms of modern life.For example,when people feel tired,they now get familiar with taking an energy drink like Redbull instead of water,which never happened in the past.As a result,modern citizens around the world,at present,love to wear clothes of Gucci,use an iPhone 13,take a Starbucks in the morning and go to McDonald’s for lunch.

幾十年來,廣告一直在用特定的模式塑造消費者的行為,并阻止我們形成一個多樣化的社會。一種常見的操作是,廣告者試圖為不停接受新生活概念的消費者創(chuàng)造新的習慣。這些習慣隨后成為現(xiàn)代生活的日常。例如,當人們感到疲憊時,他們習慣于喝諸如紅牛一類的功能飲料而不是水。這一點在過去不會出現(xiàn)。這樣一來,如今全世界的人們都喜歡穿古馳的衣服,使用iphone的手機,早上喝星巴克的咖啡,并去麥當勞吃午餐。

廣告影響潮流

It is also clear that adverts often take advantage of the images of celebrities to make the audience conduct themselves in the same pattern.Because people usually take some superstars as their role models,letting them see ads involving these famous people would give rise to the desire to buy the same products or to react in the same ways.In other words,if they do not use those products,they might feel that they are just old-fashioned ones.For example,when XXX–a Chinese famous singer–becomes a representative for a cosmetic product,thousands of women immediately think of buying that product,not because of the quality of itself but the fact that they want to look like her.

顯然,廣告也會利用名人形象讓其觀眾采用相同的行為模式。因為人們往往將一些明星當作自己的偶像,讓他們觀看包含這些明星在內的廣告會使他們產生購買相同產品或者做出相同行為的想法。換句話說,如果他們不使用這些產品,他們可能會覺得自己落后與時代。例如,當XXX,一位著名的中國歌手代言一款化妝品時,數(shù)千名女性立刻想要買它,不是因為產品自己的質量,而是因為他們想要看起來像她。

結論

In conclusion,the rise of advertising is an irresistible trend,and this movement apparently prevent from being different individuals.

總的來說,廣告的崛起是無法阻擋的趨勢。它明顯阻礙人們成為不同的個體。
