The thing I am interested to learn is Russian.Decades ago,when the Soviet Union still existed and the Sino-Soviet relation was on honeymoon,it used to be the first choice when Chinese people wanted to learn a second language.But ever since the collapse of the country,this language has lost its popularity and become a skill mastered by a fraction of people.

我想要學(xué)習(xí)的事情是俄語(yǔ)。數(shù)十年前，當(dāng)蘇聯(lián)還存在，中蘇關(guān)系處于蜜月期的時(shí)候，它曾經(jīng)是中國(guó)人學(xué)習(xí)外語(yǔ)時(shí)的第一選擇。但自從蘇聯(lián)解體，這一語(yǔ)言就不再流行，成為一種只有少數(shù)人才掌握的技能。

The idea of learning this language surfaced two years ago when I was listening to Katyusha,a Soviet folk-based song.It tells the story of a Russian woman called Katyusha.Standing on a steep riverbank,she sends her song to her beloved,a soldier who left his home to serve in World War Two and never returned.The lyrics and the tune ignited my enthusiasm to learn more about this country.

學(xué)習(xí)這一語(yǔ)言的想法出現(xiàn)于兩年前，當(dāng)時(shí)我正在聽《喀秋莎》，一首蘇聯(lián)民歌。它講述了一位叫做喀秋莎的俄羅斯女性的故事。站在陡峭的河岸上，她唱歌送給自己心愛(ài)的人，一名參加第二次世界大戰(zhàn)，并再未回來(lái)的士兵。其歌詞和旋律點(diǎn)燃了我想要更多了解這一國(guó)家的熱情。

I am planning to learn it in a language center outside my university.It is said the class there is distinctive from the one I am familiar with,where we need to memorize a lot of grammar and words.Instead,it is full of exciting activities.For example,the teachers rarely tell students the meaning of the words directly but employ exaggerated moves and relevant pictures to let them figure it out by themselves.

我打算在校外一家語(yǔ)言中心學(xué)習(xí)的它。據(jù)說(shuō)那里的課堂跟我過(guò)去熟悉的那種需要記憶大量語(yǔ)法和單詞的課堂完全不同。恰恰相反，它充滿了各種各樣有趣的活動(dòng)。例如，老師很少直接告訴學(xué)生單詞的含義，而是利用夸張的表演和相關(guān)的圖片讓他們自己猜出來(lái)。

It will not be easy to learn this language.After all,I am still struggling with my English.But mastering Russian will help me better understand this great country,which has done a marvelous job in architecture,religion,art,mathematics,and a wide range of other scientific areas.Without it,the dazzling civilization of humankind will lose half of its amusement.I feel really excited at thinking that I am going to learn this skill.

學(xué)習(xí)這種語(yǔ)言并不簡(jiǎn)單，畢竟我現(xiàn)在還在英語(yǔ)中苦苦掙扎。但掌握俄語(yǔ)讓我可以更好地了解這一偉大的國(guó)家。它在建筑、宗教、藝術(shù)、數(shù)學(xué)和其他許多科學(xué)領(lǐng)域都做出了自己的貢獻(xiàn)。沒(méi)有它的話，人類璀璨的文明會(huì)失去一半的魅力。想到要學(xué)習(xí)這一技能，我很激動(dòng)。
