根據(jù)相關(guān)法規(guī),學生在學期(即學生應該上課、寫作業(yè)與準備考試的期間)內(nèi)的工作時間被限制在每周10至20個小時,假期內(nèi)的工作時間則不受限制。不過你若想在假期做全職工作,最好提前征求導師的建議、并取得其同意。
無論你做什么工作,都一定切記要遵守英國法規(guī)。不要心存僥幸,認為自己不會被邊境管理局查到。
瀏覽簽證信息，確定是否可以打工
首先,你要查看你護照上的簽證貼紙或入境許可,并仔細閱讀其上的說明。通常而言, 16周歲以上、并持有第四層級(Tier 4)學生簽證的學生可以打工,每周工作時間不得超過10小時;在高等教育機構(gòu)接受大學學位及以上教育的學生每周最長可以工作20小時。但如果你的簽證貼紙上有“No work”(不得工作)或“Work prohibited”(禁止工作)的字樣,則你不能在學習之余打工。16歲以下的未成年人不得打工。
可以做哪些兼職呢?
即使你的簽證允許你工作,你的工作種類也有限制。你不得從事個體戶、永久性的全職工作或作為職業(yè)運動員/運動教練/演藝人員進行工作,但學習音樂或舞蹈的學生可以有例外:這類學生能夠參與專業(yè)表演的實習工作,但這個實習必須是由其所就讀的學校安排、并且是課程中需要進行評價的一部分內(nèi)容。
