Information System 管理信息系統(tǒng)

Operation Research 運籌學
這個專業(yè)實際上是整個IE的一個理論基礎(chǔ)，基本上各個學校都有這方面的研究，但是有一些專門的OR是在數(shù)學系下面的。Deterministic Operation Research和Stochastic Operation Research是任何IE department里必須修的核心課程。這個對于大多數(shù)人來說也是比較難的，而且對學生的數(shù)學能力的要求是比較高的。
Human Factor 人因工程或者是工效學
目前在中國國內(nèi)這個方面有研究的學校還是比較少的，而且做得水平和國外來說相差也很大。而在美國這個專業(yè)是很受重視的，幾乎大部分學校都有這方面的研究人員。而且很多院校還有專門的實驗設(shè)備來支持這方面的研究，而且這個方向的畢業(yè)生的就業(yè)形勢也非常的樂觀，我國作為如今全球經(jīng)濟發(fā)展的重要經(jīng)濟體，人因工程這個專業(yè)必定有很大的市場需求。
Production and Manufacturing Engineering
包括的東西非常廣泛。很多專業(yè)的人都可以在這里面找到與自己相關(guān)的部分。比如說自動化，機械，電子，材料等等。典型的方向包括了Quality Engineering，F(xiàn)acility Design，Robotics，CAD/CIM等，這個專業(yè)需要學生具備一定的計算機水平和數(shù)學水平。
